Vorspiel is taking a break in 2025 to reflect and refocus efforts to strengthen the community. However an indepent initiative formed U̶n̶o̶f̶f̶i̶c̶i̶a̶l̶ V̶o̶r̶s̶p̶i̶e̶l̶ 2̶0̶2̶5̶ and we would like to share the events calendar here.

From 2011 to 2014, Tatiana Bazzichelli and a team of others designed a sprawling event program called “reSource transmedial culture Berlin,” which picked up on transmediale-related projects and flung them far further.

Starting on Sunday, Feb 6th / 7:30 pm in a collaboration with Vorspiel / transmediale & CTM, 2022

Happy to start our monthly series with the last day of Vorspiel transmediale with our first event + live AV performance.

PITCH SHIFTING, also known as PITCH SHIFTING LAB (duo) & PITCH SHIFTING GROUP (from trio formations), is a collaborative audio-visual performance project founded by musician Grgur Savic and visual artist Sanja Star that was conceived in 2019 by Grgur Savic. Savic’s approach to sound research and saxophone practice, and Star’s experience with graphic design and 3D art created the space for further exploration. Pitch Shifting work with audio-visual compositions and improvised visual & music performance pieces to create unique and immersive environments which are built to challenge and inspire the viewer. Pitch Shifting are also known for collaborating with other artists, mostly musicians with experimental approach.
